On Jan. 8th, 1974, a tomb of Eastern Han was discovered during the construction of a water conservancy project at Hantanpo by members of Qiao'er Group of Boshu Community in Wuwei, Gansu. On the wooden oxcart model unearthed from the tomb, people discovered some pieces of written ancient paper, which had actually been fragments with big ink marks in the style of official script in the Han Dynasty. Characters on the fragments such as "Qing Bei" were distinctly recognizable, from which we could figure out the high level of papermaking industry during the Eastern Han Dynasty.
